WELCOME TO MELANIE THOREN ARTIST

About Me
A Bendigo local, I have always had a keen interest in the arts. One of my earliest memories is stealing my Mum's printer paper so I could draw! All the way through primary and secondary school I excelled in the arts scene, frequently being a part of school exhibition events, and even had my works purchased for my school's permanent collections. During this time I I fell in love with the process of creating folios. I always marvel at how many different outcomes can come from one creative stimulus!
I recently completed my Bachelor of Arts (Drama and Visual Arts) and Bachelor of Education at Deakin University in Burwood, and my interest in contemporary art and performance has only grown.
